Do you need a new air conditioning system?
Your AC system isn’t designed to last forever. Central air conditioning units typically last between 15 and 20 years. A ductless system lasts 20 years on average. Many systems last much longer. The longest lasting systems? Those are the ones that are properly sized for the home and installed correctly. At Sunrise Mechanical Inc correct work is the only kind we do. If you’re building a home, retrofitting, or need a replacement AC system, you want it installed the right way. You’ll save money in the long run and get the most from your AC system.
Installing an AC system in a new home.
The great thing about a new home air conditioning installation is that you have every option available. A pre-built home locks you in and can make it more expensive to put in typically lower cost system types. When you call Sunrise Mechanical you’ll get:
- Decades of experience installing AC systems in residential homes. Our installation technicians are long-time Phoenix residents with hundreds of installs under their belts. We know how to protect your new system from moisture during monsoon season and dust the rest of the year. We can work with you or your building contractor to plan, design, and install your new AC system. We cover available options with you including advantages and disadvantages of each.
- We retrofit previously owned homes in full. If you already have ducts in place we’ll perform a cost analysis for a central air system. If you don’t have ducts in place we always recommend a ductless system. Ductless systems don’t require ducts and cool at the source of the air handler in each room. These systems are also better for larger homes; they cool rooms individually. That saves you money on electrical costs and eases the load on your system.
- Our company always consults with you first, and we stand behind our work. Our new AC system installations are warranted. You’ll get the coverage your new Phoenix AC system demands. We offer free estimates, and we’re happy to consult with you about available options. As residential contractors, we specialize in the home. You won’t find a more dedicated, equipped, and knowledgeable air conditioning installation company in all of Phoenix.

Which air conditioning system should you install in your Phoenix home?
Depending on your needs and budget there is a wide range of available system types.
Central Air Conditioning – This is the most common AC type. It cools a home all at once making it ideal for smaller homes and those already fitted with ducts.
Ductless Mini-Split System – These heat and cool rooms. independently. They are perfect for retrofitting and larger homes.
Heat Pumps – Heat pumps are a less common option in Phoenix. They heat and cool effectively in a milder climate so many homeowners in the area shy away from them.
